Wedding Planning Update: Travel Themed Wedding

So, we’ve decided to change the wedding theme! This made me more excited! Since we both love to travel (kahit na walang pera! ), we will be having a travel themed wedding! Hooray! 🙂

This made me more obsessed about my wedding! (hehehe!) The passport-inspired or boarding pass-inspired invitations are cute, aren’t they?

I am so happy with our decision, as travelling is one of our passion. This wedding will really describe us. We hope to share a bit of ourselves to the important people on our lives in the beginning of our new journey.

Engagement Ring

Dennis: (Tinatawag ako)
Me: (Nagluluto pero tumingin sa kanya. Nakita ko na nakaupo sa tabi ko at ayun nakita kong may hawak. Matagal bago ako nakagalaw. Hindi ko alam kasi sasabihin ko. Hindi ko na in-expect na mangyari pa yun. Kasi nga “nagpropose na sya sa daddy” ko nung December 25.   Kalat na kalat na nga sa FB world 😉 eh! Sa isip ko totoo ba to?!) 

 

… after a minute or two
Me: Ano sabi mo? Tanungin mo ako?
Dennis: Will you marry me? (Wala akong marinig na voice)
Me: (Tumango lang yata. Parang naputol dila ko eh. Gusto ko kaya sya i-kiss pero nandun lola ko sa malapit, so wag na lang…)

 

Before the year ended, he surprised me again! He made me kilig. . .♥ I was not really expecting the ring. Actually before we announced that we are engaged, I already told him not to give me a ring. I made him promise eh! I was thinking that “sayang yung pera, kahit na I want it!”. We were already talking about getting married and we’ve decided that we just have to ask for my parent’s permission (especially my dad’s).

Then, we were already planning and eventually asked for my dad’s permission :). I am so happy however, deep inside I was thinking (I really hope he proposed!). Don’t get me wrong, hindi naman porket naisip ko na sana nagpropose sya nalungkot ako (medyo lang?haha!). Of course, feeling ko naman hindi lang ako ang ganito, but most girls ay nangarap na may magpropose sa kanila. Will you marry me? Will you be my wife?– naimagine ko na dati sasabihin ko pag tinanong nya na ako eh! 😉

Pero nawalan na ako ng pag-asa na gagawin nya pa yang proposal dahil nga nag-announce na kami. Actually, yesterday I asked him na to propose! I told him na hindi ko naman need na engrade proposal (like nakavideo and ring), I just want to be asked. He said yes he will ask me, but feeling ko naman hindi rin nya gagawin. He is sweet pero alam ko na prang di sya yung tipo ng lalaki na magpropose pa. Hindi kasi sya yung may arte arte (tama ng ako na yung maarte saming dalawa :)).

Yun pala, before I asked him to do that, he already had a plan to propose this New Year’s Eve. Kaya pala samin sya magbabagong taon! Nagtataka ako nung sinabi nya eh, nagtanong pa nga ako if ok lang sa kanila. At oo naman daw!

Up to now, I am still in heaven because of what he did. I was really surprised and so happy!

So there you go, ang mahabang kwento ng aming engagement! . ♥
