Burot Beach + Isla Puting-Buhangin

Last Saturday we went to Burot Beach, Calatagan , Batangas. We have been checking this beach through internet for months but we can’t decide as this is privately owned by SMDC.  However, a friend told me about her contact (Mang Ramon- (09156028907)) and we inquired. He said that the beach is still open to public until further notice.  With the blogs we read, the travel time for bus is 2-3 hrs. However, our experience is different! We left around 5:00 am from Pasay and arrived 9:45 am at Calatagan Public Market! Almost a 5-hr drive!

TIP: Bus and van rates are BSC liner – P193.00, Celyrosa – P160.00 and van P180.00. They all have terminal in Pasay. For buses: At the back of Mc Donalds (First trip 4:00 am). For vans: At the back of Kabayan Hotel.

As soon as we got there, we bought our baon and looked for a tricycle driver who took us to the beach!  Travel time is 15-20 mins.

TIP: Tricycle fares vary from 100-150 pesos. Also, ask the driver to pick you up.

Our plan is day-tour only so we asked the tricycle driver to pick us up at around 3:00pm as the last trip from Calatagan to Pasay is 5:00 pm. If you want to stay overnight, make sure you have a tent or you can rent a tent from Mang Ramon if you don’t have one. 🙂

We booked another supplier for our wedding! 🙂 I have been eyeing Rejectkrew for a while na. Medyo nahirapan din akong convince si Dennis na we need them. But when he realized na isa sa important suppliers ang L & S, he agreed. So when we found out na isa sila sa suppliers ng isang wedding sa Marc 2000 last May 13, we decided to book them.

Elmer is so nice and based sa review sa kanila ng GirlTalk sisses ko, kampante ako na sila na-book namin. 😀

Dapitan-Aliguay-Dipolog-Dakak Trip Day 3 and 4

Day 3  (Dipolog and Dakak)

At 6:30 am, we are already on our way to Dipolog to buy pasalubong. We commuted (to save money 🙂 ) and hailed a trike (P 7.00) to take us to the bus stop for buses (Evergood mini bus) bound to Dipolog.

yummy breakfast! jolly spaghetti! :D

Dipolog Church

Interior of Dipolog Cathedral

After our breakfast at Jollibee Dipolog, our next stop was Dipolog Cathedral. The main altar was designed by Dr. Jose P. Rizal during his exile in Dapitan. Although it has been renovated, the interior of the church is pretty much preserved.

yummy Spanish Sardines

Next stop is Montano, we hailed a trike (P7.00) that will take us to the main branch (factory price). It was located in a subdivision where the owner has a store infront of his house. We bought some Spanish Sardines in corn oil (P62.00), Spanish Sardines in tomato sauce (P67.00).

Then we went to Zaragoza’s to buy bagoong.(Trike to Zaragosa P10.00). The bagoong is the best!

We head back to Dapitan at around 10:30 am. And ate our lunch at Kamayan ni Manay in Dapitan (near Monina Pension house).

At around 1:30, a service van from Dakak fetch us. It was a 1-hour ride and we reached Dakak at 2:45. We immediately explore Dakak and enjoyed the beach.

At night, we ate our dinner at the Pavillion (Eat All You Can P395.00). Luckily, they had a cultural show that night, so we enjoyed our dinner while they were entertaining us.

We had free tickets to Gloria Fantasyland in Dapitan. However, I was not able to use it due to a case of diarrhea. Me and my boyfriend just stayed at the resort.

Day 4 (Bound to Manila)

We ate breakfast at the Pavillion.

Then went to the beach and took some photos.

At 10:00am we were off to the airport.
